保肺抑纤汤抑制放射性肺损伤的临床研究

【摘要】Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of the lung protection decoction on the prevention of radiation-induced lung injury in lung cancer and its effect on plasma interferon (IFN)-γ, interleukin (IL)-4 and IL-13 expression levels. Methods Sixty-seven lung cancer patients treated with radiotherapy were divided into the treat-ment group (n=35) and the control group (n=32). The control group was treated by the simple three-dimensional con-formal radiotherapy. The treatment group received radiotherapy while taking Chinese herbal medicine (lung protection decoction). At the baseline and end of radiotherapy, serum IFN-γ, IL-4 and IL-13 levels were determined by ELISA method, and the changes of Th1/Th2 in the two groups were observed. The incidence of radiation-induced lung injury at three months after the radiotherapy was compared between the two groups. Results Lung protection decoction could increase the plasma IFN-γlevel, and decrease plasma IL-4 and IL-13 levels in lung cancer patients treated with radiotherapy.
