考试的题型分为6部分，英译汉和写作（即作文）部分由人工批阅，其他部分电脑自动阅卷分别为：
第一部分交际用语，5题15分，主要是考一些常规的情景对话，掌握起来绝对不是难事，一些简单的单词，初中程度即可掌握，如果是想顺利通过考试，这15分是一定不可以丢的。
第二部分阅读理解，2题30分，其中第一篇是新改的题型，为正误判断，相对来说难度较低，投机几率大。
第三部分词汇结构，5题10分，这部分对于基础不是很好的同学会比较难，短时间提高不现实，只能多看资料多温习，看多了自然就会有印象，做题也会有感觉。
第四部分完型填空，1题10分，新版的难度大大降低，解题思路：短文中共包含5个未完成的句子，针对每个句子中空缺部分，请从A、B、C、D、E五个选项中选出正确选项。
第五部分英译汉，4题20分，此部分人工评阅，只要大概意思到位，语句通顺，即可满分。
第六部分作文，1题15分，如果基础不是非常好的，作文可以选择性的掌握一些，然后学会套用。
