【摘要】Prevalence of hypertension in the country showed an increasing trend, while the latter part of the heart, brain and kidney disease, hypertension and other target organ damage or complications, it will seriously affect people's health and life, so early treatment of hypertension, to prevent target organ damage and complications occur very important. antihypertensive effect of ensuring drug safety, based on telmisartan has been widely used in recent years cardiology. This observation of telmisartan for hypertension control efficacy morning peak [1] . Methods outpatients with mild to moderate hypertension in 50 patients taking telmisartan 80mg, every morning for 1 hour before taking the morning blood pressure surge, after the concept of control was observed after 8 weeks of blood pressure before and after the morning peak of patients case, again ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Results telmisartan has significant control of blood pressure morning peak effect, the effective rate of 82%reduction in cardiovascular events
