PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile reinforcing bar cutting device positively cutting a long reinforcing bar not only into comparatively long
reinforcing bar pieces, but also into short reinforcing bar pieces, which has been taken as impossible
conventionally.;SOLUTION: This cutting device is provided with: a feed passage 1 for feeding the reinforcing bar B along the longitudinal direction; a cutting device 4 provided with a cutting blade 3 for cutting the reinforcing bar B on the feed passage 1; and a pressing member 5 for holding the reinforcing bar B by pressing the bar B on the feed passage 1 on a rear side of the cutting blade 3 on the feed passage 1. The cutting device is provided with a feed member 14 to feed the reinforcing bar B on the feed passage 1 to the cutting blade 3 side by being abutted on a rear end of the bar.
