Three Turtles
Three turtles decided to have a cup of coffee. Just as they got into the cafe, it started to rain.
The biggest turtle said to the smallest one, \
The little turtle replied, \promised.
Two years later the big turtle said to the middle turtle, \so we might as well drink his coffee.\
Just then a voice called from outside the door, \
Once two hunters went hunting in the forest.One of them suddenly fell down by accident. He showed the whites of his eyes and seemed to have stopped breathing. The other hunter soon took out his mobile phone to call the emergency center for help.

The First Detective
Who was the first modern detective: Sherlock Holmes? Hercule Poirot? Actually it was
someone very few people have heard of: a Frenchman called Francois-Eugene Vidocq.
Vidocq was born on 24 July 1775. He was always getting into trouble, so his family made him join the army when he was 17. Unfortunately, things didn’t get any better: at the age of 20, Vidocq went to prison for the first time.
Soon Vidocq became a skilful criminal. He escaped from prison so many times that he became very well-known. Finally, he decided to change. He went to the chief of police and offered to become a police spy. The chief agreed. Vidocq helped the police to catch so many thieves and murderers that the chief asked him to form a team of “detectives”.
Vidocq was the first person to employ female detectives. His team had an equal number of men and women. He was also the first investigator to use methods which the police still use today: he and his team worked “undercover”, pretending to be members of criminal gangs. They also used blood samples and fingerprints. Soon they were catching thousands of criminals a year.
In the 19th century Vidocq predicted that in the future “the scientist will be an even greater enemy to the criminal than the police”. In the 21st century his prediction has finally come true.

How to keep healthy
What is the most important thing in the world? I think it is health.
You can take away our money, house, car, or even our clothes and we can survive. But if our health was taken away, we would surely die. That is why we always try to eat in a healthy way and exercise regularly.
In order to eat healthily, I usually avoid eating food high in fat, like French fries or cookies. I also eat little meat. I eat a lot of vegetables and fresh fruit which are full of vitamins.
Taking exercise every day helps us build a strong body. Regular exercise is an important part of keeping me healthy.
What’s more, I think friends are an important part of one’s health. Many studies show that people with a wide range of social contacts get sick less than those who don’t. I always feel better when I am with friends than when I am alone. When I am with my friends, I always laugh. Laughing is also an important part of health. I like to laugh with my friends.
By eating properly and exercising regularly, I can keep my body at a proper weight and keep healthy. By spending time with my friends, I can keep my mind as well as my body happy. These things sound easy to do, but not many people can manage them. I think a strong will is necessary if we want to keep healthy.
