Improving our city environment

Our city is using many ways to improve our city environment.

First, the city leaders have planted flowers and trees all along the side of our main roads. It makes them look very pretty. Second, they have cleaned up the area around our lake and along the river running through the city so that the water in them is cleaner and clearer. It is nice for families to take their children there now. Third, they have put a fountain in the middle of our square so that it always seems cool when the weather is hot. It has also become a festival attraction for people to enjoy.

So I think our city is doing a lot to improve its environment. We should respect our city’s work and protect the beautiful environment of our city.
