我想FRIENDS们觉得那医生奇怪，是因为他喜欢又老，又荒唐的电视剧，

不可否认中文字幕给那些看英文有一点困难的人提供了很大的帮助.如果你只是喜欢电影的内容，而不是想通过它来学外语的话，确实是不错的。但如果你想通过看英文影视作品来改善外语水平，那么看中文字幕时可就要当心了。 昨天晚上在看503，the one hundreth时，听到Pheebe说了句“it's a long shot\突然想到我第一次听到这句话时的迷惘，心中不由一动，赶紧找到中文字幕看看.那儿译者将它译成了”长远计划“. 从这就可以看到中文字幕的利弊了。 中文字幕,高手往往不看，如果译者不小心，错误就很难被发现了。如果一个想学外语的人只盯着中文来学,学外文的人中这个好象不在少数，哪怕很多过了六级的（不好意思，我正想考这个给自己增光呢，所以没有看不起六级的意思）,那么这些错误他可能就会原封不动地记了下来。所以对那些想通过这个来学英文的人提个建议，关掉你们的中文字幕，多查韦氏或传统这类的字典。开始确实很痛苦，但久了就会有种感觉的。
事实上如果知道了long shot的意思，503中对应的前一二句可能都要重翻才对，最少我是这么认为的。
3.Doggie 这个名字是源自美国电视剧\中，天才儿童Doggie的名字，他20岁就当了住院医师。pheobe是在讽刺那个小医生.

应该是华纳动画片bugsy and mugsy（57年产）中的人物吧。Mugsy是匪帮成员之一 ，这个匪帮有复古倾向，而且专门绑架小虫子。
这里，monica的语气俨然像跟酒店店员进行“生死搏斗”，所以chandler觉得跟monica的谈话有点像匪徒之间策划什么阴谋似的。
