T:Good morning/afternoon.boys and girls. Ss:Good morning/afternoon.Mr. /Ms. XX. T:(Quickly show pictures of things learned in the Starter Units and ask Ss) Whats this in English?(见课件) Sl:It s a map. (orange.rule^quilt^up^e^key...) 设tl?意图 利用图片信息,由复习巩固刖二个单兀的单词,自然过渡到la的学习任务。 ?Step 2 la 1. T:Now class^ook at the picture in la. What things can you see in the picture?Please write English words for the things in the picture. 2. Check the answers.(见课件) ?Step 3 Listening lb 1. T:These boys and girls are new in the school. They don' t know each other very well. They want to know others' names. Listen to the recordingfplease. Who are talking?Listen to the three conversations and number them in lb. 2. ?Step 4 Pair work lc 1 .Practice the conversations above with your partner. Then greet your classmates. 2 . Ask some pairs to act it out.(见课彳牛) ?Step 5 Listening 2a & 2b Work on 2a 1. Please look at the four pictures. Where are these people?And who are they?Listen to the conversations. 2. Role-play the four conversations and get the students to listen to all the four conversations and then play the first conversation and number the picture. And go on with the others. 3. Then play the tape again. Ss number the pictures 1—4. 4. Check the answers.(见课件) Work on 2b 1. T:Who are these people?Look at the names in the box of 2b. Let' s read the names together. (Ss read the names in the box aloud.)(见课彳牛) 2. T:Now listen to the conversations again. This time circle the names you hear. 3. Role-play the conversations one by one. Ss circle the names. 4. Play the recording again. Students check the answers. 5. Check the answers.(见课件) ?Step 6 Pair work 2c 1. Let all the students work in pairs. Practice the dialogues. Then ask three pairs to act out their dialogues. 2. T:Now make your own conversations with your partner in pairs.
