【摘要】The CMS OO reconstruction program-ORCA-has been used since 1999 to produce large samples of reconstructed Monte-Carlo events for detector optimization,trigger and physics studies,The events are stored in several Objectivity federations at CERN,in the US,Italy and other countries.To perform their studies physicists use different event samples ranging from complete datasets of TByte size to only a few events out of these datasets.We describe the implementation of these requirements in the ORCA software and the way collctions of events are accessed for reading,writing or copying. 【总页数】4页(178-181)
