一、课程说明

1、课程名称:Comparisons of Cross-cultural Communication 所属专业:对外汉语

课程性质:专业选修2学分

2、课程简介:本课程以文化哲学为理论基础,以比较和剖析中西文化不同的文化精神为轴心,将以汉民族传统为核心的中华文化与希腊、罗马文明为源头的西方文化作为比较对象,分别从自然背景、文化精神与社会结构、思维方式、语言表达模式、宗教、法律、伦理,以及文学艺术等不同视角和层面展开分析与比较,考察两种文化的现象与根源,发现二者在文化基本精神和特征上的同异与短长,并通过对近代中西文化冲突与融合的反省,引起对中国文化未来发展走向的思考。

目标与任务:学习本课程将促使学生以宽阔的胸怀和平等对话的姿态面对中西文化的沟通和交流。

(一)教学方法与学时分配:每周一专题,分组陈述。

(二)内容及基本要求

The Expression of Individualities and Psychological Self Comfort--The Comparison of Historical Roles between Chinese and Western PaintingsEach stage of development in Chinese and western paintingsoccurred at different times and in a different order. The development of each stage of either one witnessed overlapping phenomena but both of them experienced four stages i.e. rock paintings, paintings on objects such as pottery and handicrafts, religious mural paintings andindependent individual paintings. Since he is not introducing the history of painting this author will compare the roles of paintings according to the four stages. 【重点掌握】:Cultural studies are done at three levels: Monocultural studies, cross-cultural studies, and intercultural studies. 【掌握】:Monocultural or single culture studies are common in anthropology and sociology. 【了解】:Silence :Silence or what is not said can be just as important as what is said. If one point is said, the listener is expected to understand the others points that are not said. You must read in between the lines or pick up on what has been implied. Often the subject of a sentence is not stated in so many words; it is just understood \\

TOUCHING :In the beginning, it is best to refrain from forms of physical contact such as a pat on the back or a hug. The Japanese do not show signs of affection or emotions in public. Young couples may be seen holding hands, but it is embarrassing to see spouses kiss in public.

【一般了解】:FACIAL GESTURES THE UNCOMMITTED FACE of the Japanese is very common. It is considered rude to overtly express your emotions in public. The \protect your privacy.

【难点】:SHOWING RESPECT TO OBJECTS ; GESTURES.

It is best not to use hand or other gestures as you might mistake the correct meaning of the signal or use them at inappropriate times. The following is a short list so you are aware of some signs of communication between the Japanese. 三、课程考核

(一)基本要求及比例:

1.阅读选读书目,分小组做[重点掌握]课题研究。

2.寻找个人感兴趣的专题,就[掌握]现实中发现的实际操作问题撰写分析报告。

3.通过查阅相关的资料,以小组为单位,对文化界出现的[了解]层次文化现象进行讨论、分析、总结。

4.利用网络参与[一般了解]专题相关的学术讨论。

(二)成绩构成与说明:

1.平时成绩:占30%,其中考勤5%,课堂讨论及作业25%; 2.期中成绩:占30%,小论文或随堂测试; 3.期末成绩:占40%,考察。
