1、Excuse me 是日常生活中人们向对方提出请求、询问情况或打搅他人时所常用的客套 语,以示歉意或礼貌。 2—What’s your name?你叫什么名字? —My name’s Sally.我的名字叫莎莉。/我叫莎莉。 本对话用来询问姓名。这里的name因为是单数形式,所以be动词也用单数形式is, 这里的name’是name is 的缩写。

3、—Where are you from?你来自哪里? —I am from China.我来自中国。 (1)be from 从······来,来自 (2)Where+be+主语+from? 某人来自哪里? —Where do you come from? —I come from China. 他来自哪里?(两种表述方式): 他们来自哪里?(两种表述方式):

4、Are you from Canada? 你来自加拿大吗? 本句是一般疑问句,用Yes或 No来作答。 三、习题巩固

(A)根据句意及首字母提示,补全单词。

1、形容词:(1)用来修饰名词,说明名词的特点和属性,放在名词前。如:It is a fine day. (2)放在be动词或其他半系动词之后。如:I am ill. (3)汉语翻译为“、、、的”。 2、副词:(1)用来修饰动词、形容词、副词,说明时间、地点、方式、频率等。如:Listen to me carefully.(2)汉语翻译为“、、、地”,如:I get up early every day. 3、adj./adv. 比较级:e.g. His bag is bigger than mine.(他的包比我的大)

最高级:e.g. This cake is the nicest.(这块蛋糕最好吃)

形容词或副词的比较级和最高级变化规律 构成方法 单音节或双音节的形容词,及单音节的副词 1、大多数形容词(副词),如tall 2、以不发音的e结尾的形容词(副词),如nice 3、以“一个元音字母+一个辅音字母”结尾的形容词(副词)且尾音节重读,如big 4、以“一个辅音字母+y”结尾的形容词(副词),如happy 比较级 词尾直接加-er taller 词尾直接加-r nicer 双写字母,再加-er bigger 最高级 词尾直接加-est tallest 词尾直接加-st nicest 双写字母,再加-est biggest 变y为i,再加-er happier 原形前加more more beautiful 变y为i,再加-est happiest 原形前加most most beautiful 5、三音节(或以上)的形容词及双音节(或以上)的副词,如beautiful 常见不规则变化:good— — little— —

well— — bad— — many— — much— — far—farther—farthest /— — old—older—oldest /— — 注:比较级句子中,常出现than一词。

形容词的最高级前常加定冠词the,副词的最高级前,the可加可不加。 4、牛刀小试

(1)My sister is (young) than I. (2)Lily is (tall) than Ann. (3)This book is the (interesting). (4)This bag is (heavy) than that one. (5)This is the (big) apple of it. 五、课时小结
