1. 可数名词与不可数名词

（1）不可数名词一般是指某些天然存在的物质（包括某些作为材料的产品）以及某些抽象概念。例如： water 水 chicken 鸡肉 juice 果汁
（2）不可数名词不能有复数，但却可以在前面加上一个相当于汉语量词的名词来表示他们的数目。例如： rice—a bowl of rice 一碗米饭 soap—a cake of soap 一块肥皂 (3) 可数名词一般指的是具体的人或事物。 例如： person 人 table 桌子 test 考试
（4）可数名词有单数复数之分。单数用来表示一个，复数用来表示两个或两个以上。复数形式由下列方法构成： ①一般在单数名词后面加-s。
例如：desk(课桌)—desks girl(女孩)—girls ②如果单数名词的词尾是-s(-ss) ,-x,-sh ,-ch,则加-es。 例如： bus(公共汽车)—buses glass(玻璃杯)—glasses ③以-o结尾的名词有些加-es，有些加-s。
例如： tomato(西红柿)—tomatoes radio（收音机）—radios ④如果单数名词以“辅音字母加y”结尾，则变y为i，再加-es。 例如： baby(婴儿)—babies factory(工厂)—factories
⑤如果单数名词的词尾是-f或-fe，则一般要变f或fe为v，再加-es。 例如： knife(小刀)—knives half(半个)—halves ⑥有少数名词的复数是不规则的。
例如： man(人/男人)—men woman(人/女人)—women

also ,too ,either 都意为“也”，但用法不同。
（1） also 较为正式，位于句中，常位于系动词，情态动词，助动词之后，实义动词之前。
例如：He is also a member of the swimming club. 他也是游泳俱乐部的成员。
He also likes swimming. 他也喜欢游泳。
（2） too多用于肯定句，常位于句尾，前面用逗号与句子隔开，在简略回答中，too常位于人称代词宾格之后。
例如：He is a student, too. 他也是一个学生。
He is a student. Me, too. 他是一个学生，我也是。
(3) either“也（不），”用于否定句，一般位于句末，肯定句变为否定句时，also和too 要变为either。
例如：I don’t like noodles ,either. 我也不喜欢面条。
