教案 第一课时
教学目标：
1、通过look and learn栏目，帮助学生学习本单元的生词。 2、通过Ask and answer 的问答活动，帮助学生巩固已学句型。 教学重、难点 1、能掌握单词festival 2、会运用句型 When is the ? ? It is in ? or ?

1、展示中外不同节日的图片，和学生问答，将中国传统节日的 图片归为一类，引出本单元话题 Chinese festival.
While-task procedures
1、出示 Look and learn 的生词卡片，逐一教学单词，让学生跟读 和拼读单词。
T: (show the flashcard for the Spring Festival) What can you see in this picture?
S1: I can see many people, a lot of lights and red paper. T: Which festival is this picture about? S2: It is about the Spring Festival. T: Yes, the Spring Festival.
Ss: the Spring Festival, the Spring Festival. ?
用同样的方法教授 the Mid-Autumn Festival 和 the Double Ninth Festival. 然后，出示不同节日的图片，让学生将图片与相应的节 日单词配对，并说一说。如：
The Double Ninth Festival usually comes in October or November. 2、出示节日词汇和与这些节日相关的事物图片，让学生根据节 日将相关图片归类。
3、让学生利用 Ask and answer栏目中的句型，教师与一名学生 示范问答，随后学生两人一组，仿照课本反例互相问答。

学生根据座位分为四人一组， 做问卷调查， 了解同学喜欢的节日。
第二课时
教学目标：
1、通过学生 Listen and say 中关于春节的短文， 让学生综合运用已学语言讨论中国传统节日。 教学重、难点 词汇： important, call

教师可以把学生回答的内容一纲要的形式写在黑板上，如： Festival activities

1、借助上一活动的图表， 引入 Listen and say 的教学。出示 Listen and say 的图片，同时播放课文录音，让学生看图做选择练习检测学生 是否理解课文内容。

2、出示 Culture Corner 的图片，或展示中国各地庆祝春节和西方 国家庆祝圣诞节的图片，让学生说说这两个节日的特点和重要性。
