外部水源采用两台（一用一备）流量为800m3/h潜水泵从河中取水，通过DN500的管道输送到水池，再由四台（两用两备）流量为346m3/h/台的多级加压泵加压，通过DN500的管道输送到厂区万吨水池。

There are two submersible pumps that pump water from the River and the flow of one submersible pump is 800m3/h. Water is

then passed through a DN500 which takes water to a small reservoir. From the small reservoir there are four (4) Multi-Stage pumps is 346m3/h which draw water from the reservoir to raw water pond (10,000T) at Water treatment plant.

3.1 潜水泵的启动、检查、停机 Submersible pump start-up, Inspection and switching off

3.1.1潜水泵启动前准备工作 Preparation before Starting Submersible pump

1、确认河水最低水位必须高于泵的淹没水位，禁止水泵在无水状态下运转，否则会使泵烧坏；Ensure water level is above minimum level to avoid damaging the pump because when there is no water the motor can get damaged due to overheating, it needs water for cooling when running.

2、确认水泵周围无杂质 Ensure the pump is free from obstacles 3、检查确认出水阀门(2)已经关闭，能正常工作；Ensure water valve no. 2 is closed and can be operated manually.

4、检查确认出水管多功能水泵控制阀（1）处于通水状态，能正常工作；Ensure the outlet pipe for multifunctional pump control valve no.1 is in good state and can work manually.

5、检查过滤器进出口阀门(4)(5)处于开启状态，旁通阀门（3）关闭；Check the filter inlet and outlet valves no. 4 and no. 5. Ensure they are open and bypass valve no. 3 is closed. 3.1.2 启动潜水泵 Starting Submersible Pump

1、先合上主回路断路器开关，再先合上控制回路断路器开关，电源指示灯亮；First close the main circuit breaker switch and then close the first circuit breaker control switch.

2、将转换开关切换到手动位置时，按相应起动按钮，对应水泵开始起动。起动工作灯亮，到时间继电器整定时间后，电动机转换到全压运行，相应泵的工作灯亮；Turn the button to manual, then press the start button, then the pump starts.

3、水泵启动正常后，缓慢打开出水阀门(2)通过控制阀门开度调节电流；When the pump starts, slowly open the outlet valve no. 2 whilst adjusting and observing the current for the motor.

4、当江边水位低于电机顶部时，需要开启冷却水管阀门；When the water level for submersible pumps is below the motor, you need to open the alternative valves for motor cooling i.e opening cooling water pipes valve.

5、注意：一次启动没成功，需要等15min后再次启动，连续启动不能超过三次。

Attention: If the pump fails to start, you need to wait and try it after 15 minutes. It should not be started for more than three consecutive times.

3.1.3 潜水泵启动后的检查工作 Submersible Pump inspection when in operation

1、开启水泵后检查水泵泵出口压力在0.4MPa左右；Should ensure that the outlet pressure is around 0.4MPa

2、检查确认水泵电流、声音等均在正常范围内，泵的电机运行电流均不得超过(258A)电机温度不得超过75℃；Ensure the pump current and sound are within the normal range. Current should not exceed 258A and the motor temperature should not exceed 75°C. 3、必须密切巡视蓄水池水位，必须保证水池水位在3米以上，控制水位禁止出现溢流情况，可通过调节过滤器进口阀门(4)来控制水位；The water level for the reservoir should not be below 3m. You should avoid overflowing the reservoir by adjusting filter inlet valve no.4.

4、每半小时巡视水泵运行，若发现水泵异常，应立即停止故障泵，并及时通知水站工作人员。If any problem is found during operation, the pump should be stopped and it should be reported immediately to water plant supervisor.

3.1.4 潜水泵停机 How to switch off a Submersible pump
