【摘要】Objective: To discuss the expression and clinical pathological significance of E-cadherin in colorectal carcinoma. Methods: The expression of E-cadherin in 60 cases of col-orectal carcinoma, 2b cases of colorectal adenoma and 20 cases of paracancerous normal tissues were detected using immunohistochemistry and hybridization in situ. Result: The positive rate of E-cadherin protein in colorectal carcinoma(35%) was significantly lower than that in colorectal adenoma (70%) and paracancerous normal tissue (100%); The positive rate of E-cadherin mRNA in colorectal carcinoma (38.3%) was significantly lower than that in colorectal adenoma (75.0%)and paracancerous normal tissue (100.0%). The abnormal expression of E-cadherin were significantly correlated with the tumor differentiation, the TNM stage,depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis (P＜0.05).
