CONSTITUTION:A remedy for a disease of excess serum lipoperoxide, containing ML-236B which has been known as a serum cholesterol lowering agent, and usable in the form of a capsule, tablet or injection. The ML-236B is known as a lactone type of formula I, carboxylic acid type of formula II and a sodium salt thereof. The remedy is administered
usually in a dose of about 0.1-100mg per day for an adult.
