Then give them five minutes to discuss the following questions: 1) What is Facebook, Twitter, Sina Weibo, Renren and Douban 2) Among those campus activities, which one do you like best Why 3) What kind of friends do you want to have 4) Do you have other ways of making friend besides those mentioned on your book 5) Do you think students can make friends with teachers Why Section A Reading Through Divide the class into four groups and assign one paragraph to each group before class. Let each group prepare a PPT which deals with the new words, expressions and difficult sentence(s) in the paragraph assigned to them. Ask each group to read aloud and explain their paragraph, using their prepared PPT. Give the Ss helps where necessary. Finish the exercises of Getting the Message, Using the Right Word, Working with Expressions and Translating together with the Ss in class. Basic Writing Skills 教学活动安排建议 Prepare a PPT with sentences of the exercise on P117 of SB. Ask some students to tell their answers to the class and explain why.
