摘; 要：随着全球化竞争的日趋激烈，在短周期内推出满足客户个性化需求的产品是企业保持核心竞争力的关键。研究表明，产品平台建设是缩短研发周期、提高研发质量的有效举措之一。文章旨在以内燃机车研发为例，探索产品开发基础平台的建设，从而实现基于产品系统及零部件的模块化、标准化、系列化设计，最终实现产品的快速、高效集成。 关键词：产品开发;产品平台;平台建设
