【摘要】In the long term clinical practice in the treatment of hypertension,traditional Chinese medicine is increasingly received at-tention and application because of its antihypertensive effect with the advantage of lasting stable,improving symptoms and blood ves-sel function,protecting target organ.The article made a brief summary and comment on hypertension in the aspects of TCM project for the diagnosis and treatment,the effective components and mechanism of antihypertensive Chinese herbal medicine,the advantage to TCM treatment of hypertension(including the early intervention,prevention and control of target organ damage and improve vessel function).New progress was made in the application of TCM prevention and treatment of hypertension research,so as to give ful play to the advantages of TCM prevention and treatment of hypertension.%在治疗高血压长期临床实践中，中医药因其具有降压效果持久平稳、明显改善症状、改善血管功能、保护靶器官等良好的优势日益受到重视和应用。本文就近年来高血压中医诊疗方案、降压中草药的有效成分及作用机制研究、中医药治疗高血压优势研究(包括早期干预、防治靶器官损害、改善血管功能)等方面的工作进行了简要的总结和点评。中医药防治高血压的应用研究必将取得新的进展，从而充分发挥中医药防治高
