Everybody wants to be happy. Here is the advice given by psychologists(心理学家) Michael Mercer and Maryann Troiani for you to achieve happiness:
1.Take big steps while walking, “A super-fast way to improve your mood(心情) is simply to take big steps, walk faster, and stand tall,” Troiani says. “However, unhappy people usually take small steps and walk slowly.” So, if you want to change your mood, just change your steps.
2.Try to avoid those who will influence and discourage you. “Unhappy people allow those people around them to affect them and lead them to a state of
discouragement,” says Troiani. “These include people who put you down and laugh at your wishes and thoughts.” So stay away from them, and you will have your own happiness.
3.Burn your bridges. “To move forward, burn your bridges behind you so you don’t go backward,” suggests Mercer. “Give up people, habits and situations that keep you from living a wonderful life. Remember, happy people often have personal cheerleaders as their friends.”
4.Act like a madman sometimes. According to Troiani, “Happy people are
sometimes like a madman on their own tasks. They spend much time and energy doing what they may find fun. But unhappy people aren’t sure why they should focus on it. So, find what you excited and spend your time going for it.”
So, try these suggestions above by yourself, and you’ll surely find that you will be happy, you can be happy and you are happy.

One evening, this man came upon a homeless bum(流浪汉)lying on the sidewalk of the street. This bum saw the man and knew the man could help him. But instead of reaching out his hand, the bum felt shameful and hid his face.

Over the years Hollywood movies have described ETs(外星人) in strange appearances, like the childlike ET or strange monster in Alien. Now scientists have planned to add something different into ETs in science fiction movies.
The Science of Aliens exhibition is about how an alien might look like. These appearances are created by considering their likely environments and the laws of 4 / 8
physics, chemistry and biology. Scientists have come up with a number of species(物种) including the stinger fan(刺激扇),a plant-like animal and the gulp hog, a dinosaur-type predator(食肉动物). Stephen Foulger, the director of the exhibition, which opens at the Science Museum on Oct,14, said: “It is true that only a few scientists believe life forms are rare or possibly not real. But many still believe they are real. The problem is that they are too far away to discover. This should not stop us imaging what kind of worlds they might live on or what they might look like, however. And that is what we have done.
The team created two very different environments for their ETs. Aurelia and Blue Moon. Aurelia is a planet. And it’s much cooler than our own sun. __________,so one side of Aurelia faces its sun and the other into the space all the time. This would be the world of the 15-feet-tall gulphog, the scientists said. They hace powerful legs, long necks and small heads and can run at up to 40mph. The Blue Moon is a planet, too. The air there is so thick that animals if large size are able to fly in it. Their only predators are called stalkers, bird-like, while there are many huge trees that grow 9,000 feet high.
Scientists say that although these ETs may seem strange, they are only following the laws of nature that gave rise to life on our planet.
