★2. Never be afraid of making mistakes. In fact, making mistakes is making progress. (失误)
We always make mistakes in our daily life. Since mistakes are unavoidable, we shouldn’t be afraid of them. What we should do is to make good use of mistakes to improve ourselves.
I was weak in math when I was in middle school. As I always failed in maths exams, I was anxious about maths. Every time I tried to work out a maths problem, I was afraid of making mistakes, which made me helpless. It was a mercy that I met a nice maths teacher. She told me that I needn’t be afraid of making mistakes and only by making mistakes can I find my shortcomings. \After that, I made rapid progress in maths. As the saying goes, failure is the mother of success. I became aware that we can make progress as long as we learn lessons from the mistakes.
In a word, making mistakes is not a horrible thing. With an active attitude, we can make full use of mistakes to achieve self-improvement.
