China has recently published its first artificial intelligence (AI) (人工智能)textbook for high school students, following a plan by central government to include AI courses in primary and junior high school.
The textbook, Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, was written by famous teachers from well-known schools across the country.
The textbook not only pays attention to basics(基本原理) of AI, also focuses on practical use of AI in daily life, said Chen Yukun, a professor at East China Normal University, who is one of the writers of the book.
