、Mth the expansion of services offered over the Internet and the increase of the requirement of the network bandwidth．people imminently need technology to solve the‘‘last mile'’bottleneck problems．FTTH iS one of the final solutions of Optical access a access new network． Because of its concision，cheapness and reliable topology structure，PON，
this has two mainstream technologies：EPON and GPON．iS considered to
the final solution of FTTH．The that whether EPON or GPON be problem the solution of FTTH iS all of the leading argumentative problem world． Because FTTH network is integrated access platform，including
for other services and support voice，data，video，green，and applications， it has the need for different services and applications for a variety of service quality the technical problems relative of of guarantee．So quality and service，such as operating and maintenance，network measurement flow control to the of EPON and GPON services，in technology quality System are becoming major selected factor to the operators．OAM of EPON and GPON is the key technologies relatated to operating and and GPON iS not only all maintenance．Interoperability testing of EPON important basis of the network measurement，but alSO the major qualification for operators to measure the overall performance of the
