1、read a newspaper
read, 阅读，主要指书，报，杂志。其过去式和过去分词都是read。read-read-read watch,（聚精会神地）看，注视，看比赛，电视等。
look, 强调看的动作,是不及物动词，需跟介词________再接宾语。 see, 看到，强调“看”的结果，还可以用于见朋友，看医生等。

2、talk on the phone
1)四个说：talk, say, speak, tell 2)on the phone
talk to/with sb. about sth. 表示用电子产品，在电子产品上，要用介词on say sth. on the radio on the computer on TV speak +语言/to sb.
tell sb. sth.= tell sth. to sb. tell sb. to do sth. 3、listen to a CD
三个听：listen to/sound/hear
listen to 听，表示动作，听某人说，听什么东西 listen to me listen to the radio sound 听起来 That sounds good.
hear 听见，表示结果 hear of sth. 听说 hear about sth. 听说关于...事情 hear from 收到某人来信 4、use the computer
use → useful → usefully v.使用n.使用，用处，有用 adj. 有用的 adv. 有用地 ↓ ↓ ↓ user useless uselessly n.使用者 adj.无用的 adv.无用地 5、问某人正在做什么
1) What are you/they doing？ What is he/she/the man doing？
2) Is he/she/the man swimming in the river? Are you/they playing games? 6、TV show
show vt.& vi. 给…看;表现出;显露出;上演
vt. 说明;指示;表明;演示 n. 展览;显示;外观;表演
show sb. sth. = show sth. to sb. 给某人展示某物 be on show 展览 talk show 节目

2) any other 是指在同一范围内除了某人或某物以外的其他人或事物 any other+单数名词 = any of the other+复数名词

1)other另外的，修饰名词复数或者不可数名词。 Ask some other people.
2)the other 两者中的另一个，one...the other...。He has two daughters. One is a nurse, the other is a worker. 3)others = other+名词复数，some...others...。 Some of us like singing and dancing, others go in for sports. 4)the others 剩余的，指两个部分或两部分人中的另一个部分。the others=the other +复数名词 This article is better than the others.
5)another 用于三个或以上的“另一个”，只能修饰单数可数名词。I don't like this one. Please show me another. I have 2 sisters. One is a teacher. __________ is a doctor.

①miss 想念/错过 We have never seen each other for a long time,so I miss you very much.（想念）
I miss an important meeting.（错过）
②lose丢失(东西) I lost my key to my house.
③missing是miss的动名词形式，也有形容词处于丢失的状态．My key to my house is still missing now.
④lost是lose的过去式和过去分词，除了丢失以外还有丢失的/迷路的意思．be lost /get lost丢失/迷路 This is my lost key.
The twin brothers are (get) lost in the forest.
2)wish v.希望，祝福 wish to do sth.希望做某事 wish sb. to do sth. 希望某人做某事 wish sb.祝福某人
