主要介绍近年来国内外已建成和正在设计建造的大型复杂高层建筑工程的结构体系、结构设计、抗震研究实例
8. 未来的高层建筑结构体系
主要包括建筑设计趋势、结构设计趋势。

教学方式
?讲课与自学阅读相结合:讲课1次到5次,主要是介绍教学要求,布置自学内容及考核要点。
?学生根据教学内容要求及阅读的材料写出读书报告,必要时可进行课堂讨论,请同学们自己讲述看过的资料。
?课程的最后报告要经过三位教授的审评,根据报告的深度和广度给出成绩。 主要部分的学习要求
1、高层建筑结构体系?Classification of tall building structural systems
?Material: steel, concrete, composite.?Gravity load resisting system: floor framing (beams, slabs, columns, trusses, foundations.
?Lateral load resisting systems: walls, frames, trusses, diaphragms.
?Type and magnitude of lateral loads: wind, seismic, airplane attack?
?Strength and serviceability requirements: drift, acceleration, ductility.?Comparison of structural systems for different height of tall buildings, see the Fig. In next page.
?Tall building floor systems:composite steel floor system, prestressed and posttensioned concrete floor system.
?Lateral load resisting system:B raced frame and moment resisting frame system. Braced frames are cantilevered vertical trusses resisting lateral loads primarily through the axial stiffness of the frame members. Moment resisting frame consists of horizontal and vertical members rigidly connected together in a planar grid form which resists lateral loads primarily through the flexural stiffness of the members.
