摘 要

现实世界中的光孤子是在光纤中经过长距离的传播以后,脉冲宽度仍然保持不变的光脉冲。光孤子是在光纤中的非线性效应与群速度色散共同作用时处于平衡态时产生的。光孤子通信是使用光孤子作为载体的一种通信方式,光孤子通信技术是一种全新光纤通信技术,其具有高速、容量大、传输距离远等特征。光孤子通信技术基于非线性光学的理论基础,通过降低或克服光纤中的色散效应以降低在传输过程中对光信号限制,可传输信号至数万公里以外。然而现实中的光纤通信技术却不是这么理想的,这种通信技术受到多方面的影响,导致其传输特性和传输容量达不到预期值。影响光孤子通信的因素主要有两方面:一是光纤介质,如损耗、色散等;二是非线性效应,如自相位调制(SPM)等。本文在研究光孤子传输特性中主要做了以下几个方面的工作:

1、本论文首先介绍了光孤子的概念,并对其产生机理进行了分析,讨论了其传输的线性特性和非线性特性;建立了孤子包络传输方程;

2、本文采用了分步傅里叶变换和逆散射法两种方法对孤子传输方程进行了求解并进行了比较分析;

3、列举了影响孤子传输的因素并逐一对其进行了分析并提出了改进方法。

Abstract

In the real world is optical solitons in optical fiber after long distance transmission, optical pulse pulse width stays the same. Nonlinear effect of optical solitons in optical fiber and group velocity dispersion interaction in the equilibrium state. Optical soliton communication is to use a kind of optical soliton as carrier communication, optical soliton communication technology is a new optical fiber communication technology, it has the characteristics such as high speed, large capacity, long transmission distance. Optical soliton communication technology based on the theory of nonlinear optics, by reducing or overcoming the dispersion effect in the optical fiber to reduce during transmission limit, optical signals can transmit signal to tens of thousands of kilometers away. Optical fiber communication technology in the reality, however, is not so ideal, this kind of communication technology under the influence of various, its transmission characteristics and transmission capacity can not meet the expected value. The influencing factors of optical soliton communication mainly has two aspects: one is optical fiber media, such as loss, dispersion, etc.; Second, nonlinear effects, such as the self-phase modulation (SPM). Based on the study of optical soliton transmission characteristics mainly done the following several aspects:

1. this paper first introduces the concept of optical soliton, and its mechanism are analyzed, and discussed the linear and nonlinear characteristics of transmission; The equations of soliton envelope transmission;

2. In this paper, by using the fractional Fourier transform and inverse scattering method of soliton transmission equation of the two methods to solve and compare the analysis;

3. Lists the influence factors of soliton transmission and one by one for analysis and improvement methods are put forward.
