【目标预设】
1、能听懂、会说和会读日常交际用语:Christmas is coming. My favourite holiday is Halloween. What’s your favourite holiday?
2、能听懂、会说、会读单词和词组:favourite,Christmas,had,relative, went,didn’t=did not,dress up<br>3、能听懂、会说、会读句型:When’s …? It’s in/on … What do people usually do at/on … ? They …. Did you … last … ? Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.
4、能正确地理解对话内容,能正确流利地朗读对话,并能初步表演。 【重点、难点】

(一)Step 1 Free talk
师生间以句型: What date is it today? What did you do yesterday/last Sunday? Did you have a National Day holiday this term? 进行交流由此引出课题‘ Holidays’。
(二) Step 2 Presentation
1、T: Which holiday do you know?
Ss: (PPT图片) What holiday is this? It’s New Year’’s Day . T:Now please look and read after me.
(同法学习新词Spring Festival, Halloween, Mid-Autumn Festival。) 2、由以上节日引出新句型:What’s your favourite holiday
T: My favourite holiday is Spring Festival. What’s your favourite holiday? (PPT显示句型)A: What’s your favourite holiday? B: My favourite holiday is ...

What do people usually do at …? Did you … last …? (课文生词较多,要求学生掌握的句型也较多,此设计的目的是为了要在看似不经意之中通过聚焦谈论Christmas这一节日把本课重点句型进行渗透,窥一斑而知全豹,为学习其他节日埋下伏笔,在轻松的聊天气氛中帮助学生理解新知,减轻课文学习的难度。)
