1.Knowledge goals(知识目标) ① Make students learn and master the new words and phrases.

Phrases: die of, take away, laugh at, couple with, lead to. ② Enable students learn and understand the important grammar points. Grammar: simple past tense. 2. Ability goals(能力目标) ① Help students learn to read a passage in three aspects: content, language, and structure. ② Enable students learn to analysis the passage and complete the relative tasks. 3. Emotional goals(情感目标) ① Enable students learn to cooperate and take active part in the class. ② Help students learn some emotional knowledge from the passage such as what to do when we are in trouble, and how to be faced with our changeable life. 二、Teaching important points(教学重点)

Content:No matter what we must or need to be faced with, we should own a mighty heart and keep an positive attitude all the time. Because we need to be strong to achieve our goals but have no other choices. If you smile to the world, the world will smile back to you!
