How I wish to live a house surrounded by limpid water! From the windows of the house you could see the clear water flowing by。 And the fresh smell of the water could make you forget a days hard work and feel vigorous again。 And the limpid water could bring us green trees， pleasant grass and colorful flowers。 Yes， it is like a beautiful drawing。 Yes， it is my good dream!
Can this dream e true?
A few years ago， the suZhou river was polluted。 But now， with the help of city governments， it bees clean。 So we should save and protect the water。
I do believe house by limpid water will e true。 In Shanghai the water will bee more limpid， the sky more blue， the air more fresh， and the people more healthy。 We are sure to have a better city and a better life tomorrow! Lets study hard and work hard， and wait to enjoy house by limpid water!

Doctor is an other kind of artist who does human art by fighting with diseases and making people feel good。 I think it is a pleasure to try my best to bring happiness to others。 It is a feeling of pride and I am fond of it。 In modern life， a mass of people work day and night to seek wealth and as a result they ignore their health。 It is known that strong body is a foundation of beatific life。 I dreamed to be an excellent doctor who can help them have a right to enjoy life again。 Curing people is a doctor's holy responsibility。
Being a doctor is my dream job， now I should study hard to gain more knowledge to reach my goal。

A man who lived in a block of apartments thought it was raining and put his head out the window to check。 As he did so a glass eye fell into his hand。
He looked up to see where it came from in time to see a young woman looking down。
Is this yours? he asked。
She said， Yes， could you bring it up? and the man agreed。
On arrival she was profuse in her thanks and offered the man a drink。 As she was very attractive he agreed。 Shortly afterwards she said， I'm about to have dinner。 There's plenty。 Would you like to join me?
He readily accepted her offer and both enjoyed a lovely meal。 As the evening was drawing to a close the lady said， I've had a marvelous evening。 Would you like to stay the night?
The man hesitated then said， Do you act like this with every man you meet?
No， she replied， Only those who catch my eye。

Growing with English
Hi everybody。
Back in the years when I was only six years old or so， I had my first taste of English。 It seemed very strange to me。 At the very beginning， I was not so interested in this strange language。 Moreover， the English TV program always took time away from my cartoon shows。 As a result， I started to hate English。
Time flies。 Things pletely changed at the end of my primary school life。 In the last exam of the whole primary school period， I did so well in English that I got a full mark。 I found that I could do a perfect in English if I put my heart on it。 This exam seems to be a turning point on my road of studying English and has really inspired me。 Although there are still many challenges waiting for me， these setbacks wont hurt my confidence and will push me to study harder。
Nothing is impossible for willing hearts and I believe， in the future， I can fly as high as I wish to。

Today some students spend too much time enjoy their lives such as eating， clothing， traveling and so on。 Others spend too much time reading books of small value and little importance。 A lot of time has been wasted。 They have no idea that waste of time means wasting of ones life。

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite ， for adventure over the love of ease。 This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 。 Nobody grows old merely by a number of years 。 We grow old by deserting our ideals。
Years wrinkle the skin ， but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul 。 Worry ，fear ， self distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust 。
Whether 60 of 16 ， there is in every human beings heart the lure of wonders， the unfailing childlike appetite of what?s next and the joy of the game of living 。 In the center of your heart and my heart there?s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty ， hope ，cheer， courage and power from men and from the infinite， so long as you are young 。
When the aerials are down ， and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism， then you are grown old ，even at 20 ， but as long as your aerials are up ，to catch waves of optimism ， there is hope you may die young at 80。
