1. Which rules are these students breaking? 这些学生违反了哪些规定?

①这是由疑问词which 引导的特殊疑问句。Which 在本句中是疑问形容词,它还可以作疑问代词,“哪个,哪些”

Which do you like better, classical music or popular music? Which sport is your favorite?

Which 用作疑问代词时可以独立使用, 用作疑问形容词后面须接名词,两种情况经过变化后可以互换使用。

Which hat is your sister’s?=Which is your sister’s hat? ②rule 在句中作名词,“规则,规定” We must obey school rules.

常见的词组:obey a rule 遵守规定 break a rule 违反规定 carry out a rule 执行规定 abolish a rule 废除规定

③break 是动词,“破坏, 违反”,还可以表示“破坏,打破,打碎”。Break 作名词, “休息,中间,中断”。

The boy often breaks school rules. Who broke the window of the classroom? Let’s take a ten-minute break.

2. in class 在课堂上 (反)after class in the class 在班上,在班级上 Don’t look out of the window in class. 课上不要向窗外看。

She is one of the best students in the class. 她是班上最好的学生之一。 3. fight v. 打架,争吵 fight with 和……打架

The two boys fought with each other yesterday. 昨天这两个男孩打了一架。 n. 打架,争吵 There was a fight between the two boys yesterday. 重点难点释义:

1. hear,listen和sound都有“听”的意思,但三者是有区别的。 (1)Hear“听说”,侧重于“听”的内容

I’m sorry to hear that you are ill. 听说你生病了,我很难过。

I never heard such an interesting story. 我从来没听过这么有趣的一个故事。 (2)Listen“听”,侧重于“听”这一动作。 Listen to me carefully. 认真听我说。

The children like to listen to music. 孩子们喜欢听音乐。 (3)Sound“听起来”,它是系动词,后接形容词等。 That sounds great. 那听起来真不错。 It sounds like fun. 听起来挺有趣。 2. 祈使句的用法

祈使句是用来表示请求、命令、建议的句子,它的特点是通常没有______, 多以________ 开始,句尾用句号或感叹号,朗读时常用降调。我们可用这段顺口溜来学习祈使句。 (1) 肯定结构:

1)主语为第二人称的祈使句

Be a polite boy, Tom. Open the door please. 2)主语为除第二人称以外的祈使句: Let + 第一、第三人称代词或名词+动词原形

Let’s go home . Let them go first. Let Mary do it. (2) 否定结构

1)含第二人称主语的祈使句的否定式前加 Don’t. 如:Don’t run in the hallway. 2)含第一、三人称主语的祈使句的否定式有两种: Let’s not +动词原形

Let’s not say anything about it.

Don’t let +第三人称代词或名词+动词原形。如:Don’t let them play in the street. 练一练
