【本模块大成总目标】

通过听、说、读、写等综合训练,使学生熟练掌握athletics, champion , rise to one’s feet,How often...?等词、词组和句型,能读懂相当于课文难度的有关体育的文章,能复述课文,能听懂有关体育题材的对话和文章的大意。

第一课时:听说

【大成目标】

1、通过分类记忆法,快速掌握athletics, champion , rise to one’s feet,ring等词和词组的意义和用法。通过听力练习,提高学生的听力水平;

2、在语境对话中掌握一些日常交际用语,如:What is your favorite sport?( 重点); 3、学会用英语谈论体育精神、思想、口号等。(难点)

【使用说明】

1、 课前查阅:体育明星、体育词汇,在组内共享;

2、到网上、图书馆等查greatest sportsperson of all time in the world;

3、向体育老师等了解世界上最受喜爱的体育运动、中国最受欢迎的体育运动及作为优秀运动员应具有的素质。

基础案 课中(10分钟) Step 1、相关词汇和体育人物链接:小组合作探究.并用英语展示自己最喜爱的体育运动及体育明星(5分钟)。

1、What is your favorite sport? 2、How often do you play?? 3、Where do you play?? 4、Who do you play ?with? 5、Are you good at playing ?? 6、Who is your favorite sports star?

Step 2:Listening

听录音完成第三、四个练习。(5分钟)

升华案(25分钟)

Step 1 学生朗读对话,并完成课本练习1。(5分钟)

Step 2 学生展示: 两人一组,利用第一个练习中的对话,把下列问题编成对话,然后向全班展示。(10分钟)

1、Who is the greatest sportsperson of all time?

2、Which is the most enjoyable sport in the world?

3、Which is the most popular sport in China today?

4、What qualities do you need to be a great sportsman or sports woman?

例如: - Do you think who is the greatest sportsperson of all time ?

-I think that Sb. is the greatest sportsperson of all time。

Step 3 英语活用:展示你的观点。小组讨论,然后在班上用英语展示your oppions。(10分钟)

1、Do you think sports personality is very important to success?

2、What’s the importance?

3、Do you think it’s also very important to you?

4、What's the idea,slogan, spirit of the Olympic Games ?

keys: Idea: Green Olympics, Hi-tech Olympics and People's Olympics 。Slogan: One World One Dream. Olympic spirit is “faster, higher and stronger.”

巩固案( 5 minutes) 用下列词汇组成短语
