Nowadays mobile phones are widely used by both adults and minors. But it’s a question that should students use mobile phone at school? Since November 2024 Shandong province has banned primary and middle school from using mobile phones and tablets in classrooms. I think it’s exactly the right thing for students to study better.
Smartphones have a lot of features and also have countless games to play. As we all know, the students in primary and middle school are in the youth time when self-control at its weakest. If there is a mobile phone in hand, students can hardly pay attention to the teachers or the homework.
Some people may say that students can use mobile phone to search for
information or the resolution about homework. But now here is the bad part that many students copy the homework from the mobile phone instead of do it by themselves. At the same time a lot of students addicted to mobile phone games and it is also lead to a decline in study performance. Even worse, some students got hurt by imitating character in the games.
It is clear that mobile phones do harm more than good to students. The rules that prohibit students from using mobile phones in school should be studied in more places.
