Topic 1: Campus Love
Directions: Some students say one of their wishes at college is to develop a romantic relationship with someone they love. Are you one of them? Create a conversation with your partner(s) and exchange your personal views on campus love.
Topic 2: Communication Problems
Directions: Misunderstandings are very common in our daily lives. As a Chinese saying goes, understanding a girl’s mind is as hard as searching a needle under the sea. Do you think so? Do you agree that men and women speak in different styles? Are there any examples in your daily life that support your point of view? Create a conversation with your partner(s) and exchange your opinions on misunderstandings between men and women.
Topic 3: Winning and Success
Directions: Have a discussion with your partner(s) about winners in your eyes. Do you have your personal hero? What accounts for his/her success?
Topic 4: Dreams
Directions: Everyone dreams. How often do you dream, and what sort of dreams do you usually have? Talk about your dreams (sweet dreams or terrible dreams) with your partner(s). Try to find the possible causes and interpretations for the dreams.
Topic 5: Food
Directions: It’s said Chinese eat anything that flies except airplanes, anything with legs except tables and chairs. Do you think so? Could you find any food taboos in China? Is it common for Chinese to eat cats and dogs? Talk about Chinese cooking and cuisines with your partner(s).
Topic 6: Making a Hotel Reservation
Directions: Suppose you are a hotel receptionist and your partner is a customer who calls to make a hotel reservation. Make a conversation with your partner and get some information necessary about him/her, such as name, single or double room he/she wants, the number of nights and dates. Meanwhile, offer some information about the hotel, such as its location, price and service, etc.
Topic 7: Choosing a Job
Directions: You and your partner(s) are talking about choosing a job.
Exchange your opinions on an ideal job in your minds and the factors you will take into consideration when choosing a job.
Topic 8: Fast-food Restaurant or Traditional Chinese Restaurant Directions: Imagine you are going to invite several classmates to celebrate your birthday. Where are you going? L:So what do u think of campus love?
M:You know campus love is time consuming and influences one’s learning. L:But you know Jack?He and his gf both do well in their a

M: the benevolent see benevolence and the wise see wisdom.There are different reasons of love on campus.
